What if you also prefer to start your day with oatmeal in the summer, but don't want a hot breakfast? An idea: overnight oats. This is basically cold oatmeal and even easier to prepare because the oats soak in the milk while you sleep. You leave this breakfast in the fridge overnight (what's in the name) and it's ready for you when you wake up!
75 grams of oatmeal
250 ml [oat milk] (https://beyuna.eu/articles/oat-milk-almond-milk) (or - another vegetable milk)
pinch of cinnamon
pinch of cardamom
toppings: strawberries, mint (or whatever you like)
Optional: agave syrup
Mix the oatmeal with the milk and mashed banana in mason jar. Add the cardamom and cinnamon and optionally a little agave syrup if you like it sweet. Turn the lid on the jar and refrigerate overnight.
The next morning, stir the oatmeal well and finish with the toppings of your choice.
